Phase 2 -Preparation
Simultaneously, flex your knees and with your right arm into horizontal abduction away from the body. This is where your momentum comes from. Do not use too much force as this is a single Pirouette. A double or triple Pirouette takes more skill and more force to get you around more than once. Keep your eyes focused on something straight ahead of you because when you go to turn you are to snap your head around and when you get back your eyes should be on the same spot that you were looking at when you prepped for the turn. This helps with your balance so you don't become dizzy or off balance. Be prepared to do a 180 turn and then to finish a 360 turn.
